调整支撑柱子 - Jack and Pack
Jack and Pack is the process of relevelling floors which have sagged due to soil shrinkage causing the concrete stumps to sink.
This is usually straight forward and inexpensive about $2000, or less. It’s a matter of releasing the concrete stump from the timber after putting plenty of hydraulic jacks in place to limit cracking. Builder then level the internal walls, straighten door frames given that the alterations that have taken place when the house was down can be corrected, or to the brick work level.
Sometimes you may need more stumps and a new bearer (Timber) as the builder may not have put stumps in the right spot. It takes 1 to 4 stumps usually at $150.00 per stump.
