Full Terms and Conditions
HOW TO CLAIM
The Good Guys $50 Store Credit Card Promotion commences 21st June 2012 at 12.00 noon AEST and finishes 21st June 2012 at 12 midnight AEST.
To be eligible customers must make an online purchase at www.thegoodguys.com.au of $200 or more in one transaction.
Valid Claims will be issued a $50 The Good Guys Store Credit (“Store Credit”) via email
Store Credits will be received no later than the Wednesday 27th June 2012; the Store Credit will be valid until Friday 29th August 2012.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Instructions on How to Claim form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this offer is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Offer
not valid in conjunction with any other The Good Guys offer.
2. To be eligible to receive a Store Credit claimants must purchase products to the relevant value in one transaction from participating The Good Guys Discount
Warehouse store in Australia during the Promotion Period. The purchase must be paid in full before the end of the Promotion Period.
3. Promotion only opens to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. Promotion is only valid at participating The Good Guys stores.
4. Employees of any The Good Guys store (and their immediate families) and agencies associated with this Promotion are ineligible to Claim. Immediate family
means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, stepgrandparent,
uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.
5. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of Claims and claimants (including a claimant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to
disqualify any claimant who submits a Claim that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the Claim process. Failure by
the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
6. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible Claims will be deemed invalid.
7. Multiple Claims are not permitted, only one Claim per household address will be allowed.
8. Claimants must retain their original The Good Guys purchase tax invoice(s) for all Claims as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for
all Claims when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of Claim and forfeiture of any right to a Store Credit. The
Good Guys purchase tax invoice(s) must clearly specify the store of purchase where the purchase was made during the Promotion period and prior to the
Claim.
9. If there is a dispute as to the identity of a claimant, the claimant will be deemed to be the person in whose name the purchase tax invoice was issued
provided the person is an Australian permanent resident of at least 18 years of age.
10. The Promotion commences the Thursday 21st June 2012 at 12.00 noon AEST and finishes Thursday 21st June 2012 at 12 midnight AEST.
11. The Store Credit expires on the Friday 29th August 2012. (“Expiry Date”).
12. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
13. The Store Credit must be treated like cash. If the Store Credit is defaced, mutilated, altered, lost or stolen, it will not be replaced, refunded or redeemed. The
Store Credit is: Redeemable for merchandise or services at participating The Good Guys stores only; Not redeemable for cash and cannot be used for
payment of credit or retailer accounts; Must be redeemed before the specified expiry date; Cannot be reloaded; Is partially redeemable. It is up to the
claimant to use the full value of the Store Credit before expiry date. Cash will not be given for any unused balance on the Store Credit. Unused balance on
the expiry date of The Store Credit will not be refunded or credited. If purchase exceeds available Store Credit balance, the claimant must pay the variance
with another payment method. Claimants are liable for all transactions on the Store Credit except to the extent to which there has been fraud or negligence
by the Promoter or any of the Promoter’s employees. The Store Credit balance can be checked by calling 1300 466 348. In some cases fees may apply for
the use of these cards, for details contact 1300 466 348. The Promoter reserve the right to change any terms contained in these Terms of Use at any time.
Changes to Terms of Use will be available in store. See in store if you have any reason to believe an error has occurred in relation to the Store Credit.
14. If for any reason a claimant does not redeem the Store Credit by the expiry date, then the Store Credit will not be refunded or credited as per the terms and
conditions of the Promotion.
15. If the Store Credit is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Store Credit with an offer to the equal value and/or
specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
16. The Store Credit, or any unused portion of the Store Credit, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
17. If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable
control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any claimant; or (b)
subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion, as appropriate.
18. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the claimant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. The use
of any automated software or any other mechanical or means that allows a claimant to automatically Claim repeatedly is prohibited and will render all Claims
submitted by that claimant invalid.
19. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including
negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any
way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not
under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any Claim or Store Credit that is late, lost, altered, damaged
or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any tax liability
incurred by a claimant; or (e) use of the Store Credit.
20. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including,
but not limited to, offer suppliers and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities; the Claim is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter
may, for an indefinite period unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending messages or
telephoning the entrant. Claimants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All claims become the property of the
Promoter.
