Come along and be part of history at the “awakening” of Victoria’s newest botanic garden, the Australian Garden. The Premier, Steve Bracks, will officially open the Garden that will then come alive with music, puppetry and roving performers. A tethered hot air balloon will give visitors a bird's-eye view of this magnificent new garden. There will also be free tours, gardening demonstrations, children’s activities and a special performance by Vika and Linda for those who prefer to stay more grounded!

Cost: Free entry on opening day only. Most activities will be free.
