Senior Java Developer - Equity Derivatives – Tier 1 Investment Bank – Hong Kong
This is an end-to-end development role in a fast paced front-office environment and the candidate will be involved in analysis, design and development through to testing, deployment and operation. They must be comfortable communicating directly with a diverse group of demanding stakeholders that include traders, business sponsors, technology management and other technology teams.

Key Skills Required:

> 5+ years relevant financial experience as a Java developer

> Solid understanding of programming fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, complexity

> Solid understanding of developing high performance Java code in a multi-threaded environment

> Team player, able and enthusiastic in communicating problems and ideas
> Knowledge of relational databases and SQL

> End to End Ownership – demonstrable record of owning and driving a solution from requirements analysis through deployment to initial support

> Outstanding interpersonal skills – ability to interact and progress projects with people at all levels in multiple locations

> Experience working with Derivative Products in a front-office environment, with a strong preference for Equity Derivatives

> Experience of order management and/or trading systems and related technologies

> FIX 4.x knowledge

> Experience in developing low-latency, high-frequency trading systems and trading strategies
