Some commercial camp sites don't have quota, but it won't be fun if you have to share a piece of camp ground 2 feet from your neighbour's tent.
if you have lightweight bushwalking tent, you can camp anywhere within most national parks (including Blue Mountain, but except those in inner Sydney regions), usually for free, as long as you stay away from the walking trails.
Just need to get used to camping without facilities, and manage your rubbish/output propoerly. There's a book called How to Shit in the Woods. It's a great read and it tells you how to dig a hole and how deep! :)
Or drive a bit further out (>4 hours), there are plenty more options. |
