Introduction:
On Friday, 25 September 2015, we launched an investigation into a potential Australian consumer law class action against Volkswagen Group, which includes the following makes; Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda and Seat. This follows revelations that Volkswagen has been cheating on emission tests for certain diesel engines.
Volkswagen has been silent to date about its vehicles sold in Australia.
Please complete the following electronic form to register your interest in joining potential action against Volkswagen.
In order to complete this registration form you will need the following information available:
Vehicle Make; and
Vehicle Model; and
Underhood ID (if available)
This information can usually be found under the bonnet near the engine. Alternatively, you may be able to find this information in your service book.
Further instructions:
Do you still have any of the marketing materials from when you purchased the vehicle? This includes the brochure, product specifications, and any emails or other correspondence from the dealer.
It is important that if you have any information provided to you at the time of purchase, that you keep it as this may become important in the future.
As is mentioned above, we are currently investigating this as a potential class action. We will contact you again when we have further information for you.
