Drinking plenty of water is definitely important for overall health and well-being but also to maintain good hydration of the skin. It is advisable to drink at least 2 litres of water a day (equivalent to 8 glasses a day) and a few more if you are drinking coffee during the day. A tip l was given a few years ago from an acupuncturist was to sip small amounts regularly to assist in the absorption of fluids as well as reducing the need to go to the bathroom a lot!!!
