apologies ... but i am sure you should have no problem in understanding our informal english and joining our conversation =]
for sake of convenience, it's sometimes more easier to chat in english as a few of us cannot read chinese on pc at work and even if it is readable, many of us cannot type chinese without installing the required software

am i joking? ... or more likely, am i making myself clear?

as forseen, we ALWAYS know imperfections existing in our event planning and thus it is so important for us to listen to and ask for everyone else's suggestions(s) for improvement, which we DID if you heed the last sentence in the original post

any comment/statement is welcome but it adds no intrinstic value to the event / group without solid reference and constructive inputs of how to do things better

if 3km is such a joke to you, may i ask for your suggested distance to walk and time required to finish? please be considerate of the old and the young, the gents and ladies and the never known particiants as well as each individual capability and fitness when you come up with your suggestion(s) ... thank you in advance!

Bushwalking @ Burleigh Headland National Park (Gold Coast region)

Date: Saturday 14 May 2011   
Time: Meet 10am sharp @ carpark at the end of Goodwin Terrace, Burleigh Heads
      
Itinerary:
- 10am ~ noon bushwalking in the park, max 3km to walk (low - medium fitness required and BYO water, snack food!)
- lunch/yum cha at GC
- followed by watersports (please bring your thongs, swim wear, surf board and sunscreens etc) till 4ish
- then home journey and dinner

Transport Arrangement:
- if you want to take your own car with/without passengers, please feel free to do so and arrive at the destination 10am sharp
- if you are a green peace member, we shall do car pooling and share all the incidental costs (such as fuel, toll, parking etc) with other passengers =]
- if you dont have a licence or car, you have no choice and gotta be one of the passengers ... you will be notified of the pickup time and place tomorrow Friday

2D1N Adventure - DONE AND DUSTED!

kinda scared stiff but the Almighty was good to us (esp to two freaking old kids *_*) and we were safe the whole time
lots of watersports and feeding filled with fun, excitements and memories for many years to come

The Mk 82 is the warhead for the GBU-12 laser-guided bombs and for the GBU-38 JDAM.

Currently only the General Dynamics plant in Garland, Texas is DoD certified to manufacture bombs for the US Armed Forces.

The Mk 82 is currently undergoing a minor redesign to allow it to meet the insensitive munitions requirements set by Congress.
Mk. 82 bomb with Tail Retarding Device – this photograph shows an unfuzed, museum display Mk 82 with its usual combat paint scheme. For display purposes, the optional high-drag "Snakeye" tailfins used for low-altitude release are shown.

According to a test report conducted by the United States Navy's Weapon System Explosives Safety Review Board (WSESRB) established in the wake of the tragic 1967 USS Forrestal fire, the cooking off time for a Mk 82 is approximately 2 minutes 30 seconds.
