The Kaplan Financial Planning Level 1 course will provide you with the essential skills you require to enter the financial planning industry. Our RG146 compliance courses are tailored to give you the specialist competencies you need to kick start your career as a financial planner. The Financial Planner Level 1 course combines industry expertise with practical strategies enabling you to provide personal advice to retail clients. Upon successful completion, you will be awarded the nationally recognised FNS50611 - Diploma of Financial Planning (DFP 1 - 3).

Exemptions and study information
Students may apply for an exemption as formal recognition of existing knowledge and skills. For further information on exemptions, student policies and fees, refer to the study information page.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) We offer online and multimedia Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to financial planners via Ontrack and PDsessions so you can effectively stay up-to-date with the ASIC RG146 requirements.

Pathways Students who successfully complete the Financial Planner Level 1 course are eligible for entry into the Kaplan Financial Planner Level 2 course and will only be required to complete 4 subjects to receive the FNS60410 - Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning qualification.
To stay ahead in this competitive industry Kaplan provides training in the specialist knowledge areas Self-managed Superannuation Funds (SMSF) and Advanced SMSF.
