死因裁判官认为昆州农场杀警不是恐怖主义，而是受“被害妄想”的驱使

昆州死因法官发现2022年昆州Wieambilla杀警的Train一家三口不是恐怖分子，而是处于共同的“被害妄想”而杀死两名警察和一个邻居。

警察Rachel McCrow和 Matthew Arnold 2022年12月12日在布里斯班以西270公里的三名阴谋论恐怖分子的物业上被杀。

这一家三口Gareth, Stacey和Nathaniel Train也杀死了邻居Alan Dare,之后在和警察的交火中被击毙。



昆州警方曾称此为恐怖主义行为。

但昆州的州死因法官Terry Ryan周五说“无法得出结论”说这三人实施了恐怖袭击。

他的调查结果发现这三人都患有妄想症。

“他们心理都有病，深受被迫害妄想的驱使。

他们。。。蓄意杀警，而且宁愿去死也不愿被捕。”

他说警察去Train的物业回应关于Nathaneil的失踪人口报告时携带的武器和处于伏击位置的枪手的步枪“无法相提并论”。

“一旦枪响，警员们的手枪不足以自卫。”

Ryan说Train一家错误地认为警察抵达是来攻击他们的。

“他们认为战争已经打到家门口，必须按照上帝的旨意抵御邪恶的攻击者，并以这种方式获得自己的救赎……因为他们错误地相信自己必须死去。”

Ryan说Train一家使用的部分枪械和弹药是合法取得的，而持有武器许可证的Nathaneil患有严重的精神疾病。

他建议昆政府考虑引入对武器许可证持有者进行强制心理健康评估的可行性。

Ryan 赞扬了000接线员 Katherine Beilby，她和被困现场并最终活下来的受伤警员Keeely Brough通话两个小时。 Train一家搜寻这位低年资警察，并试图放火让她现身。
