Customer Service Officer

You've got plenty of experience in a retail environment and you work well within a team. In fact, you love working in a team almost as much as you love to help customers! What are the responsibilities of a Customer Service Officer?
• Always follow the instructions given by manager/owner
• Perform all kinds of post office & tattersalls retail outlet customer sales and service transactions.
• Build collaborative relationships with customers, seek to understand the needs of customers.
• Maintain a cash advance accurately which includes handling and processing cash, cheques, credit cards and EFTPOS.
• Promote product and services through up selling and cross-selling, merchandising and other promotional activities.
• Assist and/or perform administrative duties such as stock and record maintenance, housekeeping.
What are the requirements of a Customer Services Officer?
• Australian permanent resident or citizen
• Be flexible for additional hours, changing shift times and changing locations.
• Be fast and efficient.
• Be able to stand for the duration of your shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 16kg of mail on a repetitive basis.
• Be customer focused and be able to work collaboratively with your team to deliver solutions.
Additional information
• $16-21/hour + Sup. depends on your performance
• this position at our outlet is subject to a three month probationary period during which time you will be required to meet specific performance standards
