宣教的中国 歌词翻译

最近在教会向西人基督徒讲道，向他们介绍了我们中国基督徒崇拜的歌曲，把宣教的中国的歌词翻译成了英文。

现在贴在下面，希望有英文高手提出宝贵批评意见，把它改进得更好。

China on the Great Commission
宣教的中国

continues like a silkworm making a cocoon,
There is a voice, constantly reminds me to walk with courage,
with the Holy Spirit guiding my heart;
Run the race towards Jerusalem.
Neither rain, wind, frost nor snow could hinder me from moving forward;
I will declare, proclaim the name of the Lord, to prevail in the kingdom of God.
Running the race with a mission to wake up the sleeping China.
Even to the extent of blood shedding, I will never look back.
Running the race with a vision to see China on the great commission,
to preach the gospel to every corner of the world.

有一个声音, 催促我要勇敢前行, 圣灵在前引导我的心
迈开步伐, 向耶路撒冷; 风霜雪雨, 意志更坚定
我要传扬, 传扬主的名, 是要得胜在神的国度里
我带着使命向前走, 要唤醒沉睡的中国； 纵然流血的时候, 我也永远不回头
我带着异象向前走要, 看到宣教的中国, 将福音传遍世界每个角落

Wake up the sleeping China? How about not losing your home base? How many young people in the western world still believe in the bible? If you can't even fool them, what hope you have in China? Or is this a desperate move to stay relevant by whatever means necessary, which is for the Church's own sake?

We also need a translated version to sing in an English speaking Church. Here is my attempt:


There is a kind of love like the ever whirring summer Cicada, or the endlessly spinning springtime silkworm
There is a voice compelling me to stride forward bravely with the Holy Spirit leading my heart
Marching toward Jerusalem; in wind or frost, snow or rain with an unwavering will
I will proclaim, proclaiming the name of the Lord, prevailing in the kingdom of God
I will press forward with a mission to arouse a somnolent China
Even on occasion of blood shedding, I will never retreat
I will move forward with a vision of seeing an evangelizing China, spreading the gospel to every corner of the world

I tried to preserve the original word order and maintain the pace of the song. Since these are lyrics I have not worked make them into complete English sentences.  What do you think?
