好像29 March 2021之后就是强制的吧,还是我理解错了?
Victoria’s new rental laws came into effect on 29 March 2021.
The first legislation changes affecting tenants and landlords saw residential rental providers undertake mandatory electrical and gas safety checks every two years in addition to annual smoke alarm checks.
Landlords must ensure that all electrical installations and fittings in the premises (in accordance with section 4 of (AS/NZS 3019) have been conducted by a licensed electrician.
If an electrical safety check has not been conducted within the last 2 years when a new tenant enters a lease agreement, the rental provider must arrange an electrical safety check as soon as possible.
If requested, they must also provide the renter with the date of the most recent safety check, in writing.
明年3月生效的是下面这个?
The newest regulation commences on March 29th 2023.

All power outlets and lighting circuits in rented premises are to be connected to the switchboard-type circuit breaker that complies with AS/NZS 3000.
A switchboard-type residual current device that complies with AS/NZS 3190, AS/NZS 61008.1, and AS/NZS 61009.1.
