求助：父母配偶移民-现要求离境，需要离境多久？

请教有经验的同学。
老妈付费五年后老爸办配偶，17年年底提交申请。盼啊盼，终于昨天收到签证官的邮件：
“We are in the final stages of assessing this application.  As you were outside Australia when you made the Partner Visa application you will need to be outside Australia at the time of our decision in order to meet the criteria for grant.
Once you have departed Australia we will need to conduct final checks to reconfirm that all other conditions for grant remain satisfied, and if this is the case, we will then finalise the application.
Please reply to this email within 28 days of the date of this letter to advise when you are intending to depart Australia.”

离境是肯定的了。但不知道我老爸的这种情况，需要离境多久？
之前有看到网友的贴说是不回国只是去周边国家转一圈，移民签就很快下来了。我们现在这种情况，是不是也可以这么操作？

朋友的妈妈离境马上拿到签证 朋友把出境章发给移民局 签证马上下了

当时是出境的第二天下午就批了

我妈今年初是刚刚出了海关，人还在悉尼机场候机，签证就下了。我车子开出机场后，刚刚想拿出手机发邮件通知移民局，结果看到下签信已经来了

一般都是一出镜马上下签的  不然就回国玩几天呀

老爸周日出境，周一煎熬等待。周二收到确认信。没有像有些同学那么快，但也够速度了。：）
