What should be the salary expectation for Financial Accountant in Syd?

Hi,

Uder the current market situation, how much should I ask as a Financial Accoutant in a medium size company? It is not a large multinational company, but it is the leader in its feild in Australia.

I have 7 years local experience and CPA qualiifed.

Do you recon I can ask 80K or less as I know you have been in this field very long.

I was Financial Analyst in a financial service company before maternity leave. The reason want to change job is to be able to pick up my daughter from daycare as this one is only 15km from my home.

具体还要看职责范围，光一个title看不出什么，你向谁汇报，谁向你汇报，一套报表是否你全部负责等等。

我回第一个贴的时候也是想到80K,7年经验，qualified,低于8万你会觉得委屈的吧，也做不长。但是这个工作应该也不会比8万更多多少了。

No direct report (at least did not say on job ad), I report to FC and he reports to CFO.

As it is not a big company, it's more like a allounder. Payroll, month end reports, tax and prepare auditing. I more enjoy analyzing data rather than produce them. Have not touched GL for a while,  I am afraid 80k is bit too high for this company (maybe I should say 70-80k), and I really want this one as its location.

Can you give me some advice how should I answer if they ask me my salayr expectation?

诶，你确定你要从analyst转到FA吗？会觉得很boring的。多少FA要转到analyst呢

1如果你非某个价位不可的，自然明说
2如果你flexible的，比较keen要这份工作的，就含糊一点，说自己是market rate,问他们offer多少了。

Ok, I will say market rate and see what they going to offer (if I can get the offer).  

I guess for a mum (first time mum, and trying for baby number 2), working close to home is already a DREAM job. I have been trying to find a Analyst role near home for a while, then realise what is really important to me. Got an offer last year just before the crisis from CBA, but i did not take as it can be very stress and busy sometime. Just need someting a little bit relaxed.

I am going to the interview on Monday, wish me good luck as I know this websit and you can "XIAN LING"!
