GAAP stands for Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, mainly use in US and UK, in AU, we use IFRS, somehow some people do call it international GAAP, I'm not sure of it.

I think this position have to deal with international business, that's why they need you have GAAP and foreign exchange knowledge
