Donations for the Quake Relief in Sichuan, China

You probably have heard the catastrophic earth quake happened at 12th May 2008 14:28 local time in Sichuan, China which has killed thousands of people. At stage death toll are still not yet confirmed, but estimated figure is over 40,000.

From what I can read from the news these areas are local counties like the place I came from. The whole county was destroyed, including hospitals, schools, commercial buildings and government facilities etc. Amongst the dead, there are school students who were having classes, newborn babies in hospitals, workers at local factories, mothers who were stilling breastfeeding the child… People lost their family and beloved, life starts becoming misery to them.

It is great agony for Chinese all over the world and I’m sure your sympathy and sorrow towards with it are the same as me. It is strongly suggested that people in Australia to donation to either the Chinese embassy directly or to the red cross if they want to get tax deduction.
