刚才接到个人报税会计师电话才知道，在9年注册了个ABN，在PARKLEA MARKET练摊了两年，实在做不下去了，转让了。期间搬家也没有通知税局。也不知道不做得通知税局取消ABN。

现在会计师让我打电话给税局说明，看税局怎么说。

烦死了，我对生意啊，税一窍不通，请知道的同学救命，跪谢了。

很多人都有ABN，但退税的时候如果没有注册GST，应该不会有GST ISSUE

You can phone the tax office on 13 28 66 to cancel the GST and ABN over the phone.

Alternatively, you can order a paper form "Application to cancel registration (NAT 2955) form" through online ordering or by phoning the tax office 1300 720 092 24, filling the form post back to the tax office, and they will cancel the GST, ABN.

You shall be able to back date the ABN GST cancellation date.

Before cancelling your ABN, you must ensure that you have met all the lodgment, reporting obligations. You can ask your tax agent to lodge Nil BAS returns if there are outstanding BASs.
