CommSec linked with non-CBA bank acct

what's next if one trade got through?

money can be left at the non-CBA account or has to use b-pay to deposit the money to any account?

currently received CDIA card, but no account yet!!!

If you open commsec account with linked account then direct debt from that linked account.
If you didn't open commsec account with linked account then they will send you a bpay form. Use bpay.

I initially thought comsec will take money straight from my non-cba acct...and I am sure I double checked with comsec analyst
looks like the analyst was wrong, I almost got myself in trouble.

I'll do the bpay now, coz I haven't received CDIA yet (only netbank card,and deposit/cheque books).

it's been over 5 working days since I applied for CDIA, h0w come I still dont have my online acct posted? so slow, the matter could have been settled with a less complicated fashion...(typical aussie style)

Do you know the credit limit of comsec for trader with CDIA? (for bluechips and mid/small caps, anywhere I can go for details instructions?)
the good thing about comsec is it allows certain credit limit - no money required for placing the order - whereas Etrade always requires enough equity before the order could be accepted,which is annoying - trading decisions are some times based on market condition, they are expecting people to predict the market and deposit enough money before trading which is ridiculous

I am not sure. It's best to ask the guys at commsec.
My guess is look at the margin ratio of your shares in your portfolio. I think that sort of give you an indicator of how much credit you have.
