From what you described, I think you can try following thing.
1. Exercise a lot.
You need to walk the dog at least 1 hour a day. Since you define your dog as indoor dog, I assume you don't normally exercise. so the dog has too much energy to use.
2. Are you sure you r pack leader?
I know you are leader at home, but may not be the leader for the dog. When you walk with your dog, does it pull and tug your leash? Does it get out the door first? If you are not pack leader, the dog will assume it is the leader and it's his responsibility to protect his family from all "enemies".
3. Does the dog own the whole house?
Can your dog jump on the sofa,bed and in / out the room as it wishes? If it does, it believes it owns whole house and whole house is it's territory. The dog defends territory. If that's the case, you need to reclaim the space back.
