新工作offer怎样谈工资比较妥当呢？

有个新job offer - full time permanent 。 manager说下周才能给我合同 说salary is negotiable.. 我就勇敢很猛的问他exactly how much for salary.. 感觉manager没想到我会问的这么直接把 楞了下 说你期待多少。。然后他说要full time要算holiday进去之类的。。还是没跟我说到底有多少 只能等下周看合同了。。

想问我这么直接问manager是不是不好啊 太直接了？有什么更好的方法negotiate 请教大家一下。。谢谢

you should know what is your expectation first. also paid is not the most important thing if you think that is really good job for your career as well. whole package including the culture, workload makes the difference.

菜鸟不是很懂 哪些该问哪些不该问。。只是之前都不敢问薪水 朋友就说这有什么的 就直接问呗。。所以这次比较猛

I had the similar situation before, not sure how to negotiate salary.

I googled,and found the best way should be :

Waiting for the employer to give the amount ,then ask yourself if you are happy for this;

if you are happy, you response as " is it possible to be ........,( the amount you want)  because  I think ...(how excellent you are)"  ;

if you are not happy with the amount, but you still want to get the job, response as " I really like this job , I am more than happy to take the job,  but  if the salary is a little better, everything will be perfect"

if you think the amount if huge different from your expectation, things will be much easier.

it is never easy to negotiate on this, and we should learn to try to get the most benefit for us.

我觉得我当时跟老板谈的时候没有任何技巧 完全是出生牛犊不怕虎 后来想想没有啥谈话技巧。。只好安慰自己 希望没让boss shocking hope he's still considering me。。 因为下周公司才给我offer 没签合同 一切都会变的。。

seek网站的工资也是有range的吧 比如40000-50000 depend on experience

大公司都有标准的，都是直接给你算好了打电话给你说offer多少。
看你的情况不是大公司，那么就会在你报价最底价给。比如你报5W-6W，那就给5W。

如果很中意的公司和职位，建议委婉点，如果不是很喜欢的，当然需要薪水来平衡。

Even big company, the price they give  you in the first instance is normaly  the minimum amount   and they are expecting you to bargain with them. But most of the case, we are too happy to thinking of bargaining with them.

I had the experience before. So, from now on, I will remind myself to bargain wherever possible.

谢谢回复。。我那个公司是小公司 他给我offer的时候就说的很含蓄 没说清楚 只是说negotiable。。只是不知道他为什么当时不说明白。这个公司当时也不是首选 所以就直接问了 没想过后果。。不知道为什么大公司也这么抠 也是minimum amount

果然厉害！我的是小公司！
只是为什么大公司给的这么少呢
