The role is for a UNIX Administrator with some Weblogic experience.  It is with a Global giant in outsourcing, offering tremendous career prospects as well as training and a strong focus on wprk/life balance.

Job spec attached but there needs to be some extra detail to this, as follows,


Weblogic experience required;

Understanding of J2EE application architecture
BEA WebLogic Server versions 7 / 8.1 / 9 administration
BEA WebLogic cluster setup using node manager
SSL key & certificate management using java keytool and keystores.
Role is for approx 90k package but negotiable dependant on skills.

Role Title: Technical Specialist - HP-UX Syd Admin

Accountable To: National Infrastructure Manager

Location: North Sydney

Definition: Customer support and project services for a range of HP-UNIX environments

Parking: Car space provided

Ideally you will come from a client facing or customer focused role, and have good working knowledge/experience of HP UNIX and enterprise storage devices.

Your prime responsibilities are for the support of customer systems. You will be expected to work closely with peers during problem analysis and act as a mentor for more junior staff. You will also be required to work on project assignments, where you will be required to adhere to the client's project management methodology, whilst working closely with various project managers.

Required: Exposure to complex SAN environments, including HP XP512, EMC Clarion

Required: Demonstrable experience of managing HA clustering environments

Required: Clear and personable communication skills

Highly Desirable: RedHat, Solaris

Desirable: Demonstrable experience of technical documentation

Desirable: Experience of testing concepts and methodologies
