Dear Sir/Madam Our records indicate that you may have an ATO digital certificate that is about to expire. Soon ATO digital certificates will no longer be able to be used to access the ATO’s online services. To avoid delays in doing business with us online and to continue using ATO and other government online services, you must register for an AUSkey before your ATO digital certificate expires. AUSkey is a new online security credential adopted in 2010 which offers many improvements over our existing digital certificate system, including a quick and easy registration process and an online management facility. While your ATO digital certificate is active, you can use it to register for an AUSkey. If you use the ATO Tax Agent Portal or Business Portal, provided you register from the computer on which your ATO digital certificate is installed, your existing portal permissions will carry over to your AUSkey. If you have already registered for an AUSkey no further action is required. You can continue to use your AUSkey, and also your ATO digital certificate until it expires or is cancelled. _______________________________________Register for an AUSkey now_______________________________________ To register for an AUSkey using your ATO digital certificate: 1.
