defer CPA program

从09年在别的国家开始考cpa, 09年中移民来澳洲，由于没当地工作经验和怀孕及生宝宝，就一直没有积累cpa的工作经验。现在考了3门，宝宝才5个月，但还没找工作。现在就剩下3年半了时间了，按目前情况看，可能不能按时完成cpa的工作经验要求了。请问，像我这种情况能延长时间吗？之前好像看有帖说可以延长，要填一张表，但找不到了。知道的同学麻烦告诉我。谢谢

Not sure. I'd recommend you set up your own business and take care of the analysis (such as forecasting/ budgeting)  and reporting requirement for your own business.

This will qualify you in terms of the PER requirement. But still need to find a mentor. Maybe a CPA tax agent as your mentor. Get them to finalise your tax reporting but you take care the rest.

Have you had any reconciliation/ investigation/ analysis/ bookkeeping experiences?

Or quick to get any jobs such as assistant/ full capacity roles in financial advisory/ financial planning/ wealth management/ private banking/ business banking/ credit analysis/ compliance officers at State Revenue Office(SRO). These roles can give you the experience you need too since they involve financial analysis and/or providing financial advice to clients (or company tax investigation experience at SRO).

I'm sure pregnancy can be an excuse for applying for extension of time.
