Rapid Antigen Tests & Covid-19 Testing
The Department will distribute rapid antigen test kits directly to schools for the commencement of Term 1 2022. Tests will be provided in packs of 5, and classroom teachers will distribute these to students in weeks 1 and 3. You do not need to attend onsite to collect tests. A Newsfeed will be sent via Compass advising that your child has a box of Rapid Antigen tests in their school bag on the day they are sent home. Students are encouraged to do the tests twice weekly at home and must report any positive test results to the school. If students receive a positive test result at any time, they must report this through the Department of Health system ( Rapid antigen tests | Coronavirus Victoria) or via the coronavirus hotline at 1800 675 398.
