Hi I've completed my CA course (Tax >AAA>MA>FA>Capstone ) last year in February so I can share some of my experience with you.
Taking CA was a big step in your career and it finally pays off! You will get promotion and compare to CPA (just my own opinion), you will have a good comprehension of those knowledge and these will be valuable in your future career. CA focus on testing if you have really understand the material. As long as you can identify what they are trying to test you, you will feel confident that you can pass. But cramming will not help.
The first module I did was Taxation in 2017. I was stressed when it comes to UNIT 13/14 and not having enough time to finish all the readings, let alone doing Worked examples and activities. I felt i was overwhelmed by all the studying points (like CGT, company tax, deduction etc).. I studied with a tutor by having probably 4-6 hours sessions before the exam. The exam was challenging, which is exactly the way CA wants to test you. I didn't expect to pass the exam, but I passed it marginally !. It gave me lots of confidence and feel respected in the workplace as other colleagues know that I am taking CA exam.
Since then, I've been studying with this tutor who used to wrote CA questions for the last two years. It has been a good journey to me.The following modules were not that hard to me anymore by studying disciplined. Compared to my Tax result, I passed lots of other module with D and HD with FA, including final Capstone.
I am a certified CA now. The tutor is an ex-CA examiner who was also a referee for my registration. He is interested in running a free online session 六月27日免费讲座 regarding How to best prepare for CA - https://www.bingotraining.com/en/tailored-learning/. You can register if you are interested. |
