Australian Government Energy Efficient Homes Package

The formal program commences on 1 July 2009. From that date, eligible owner-occupiers will have access to a free-call and internet service to access an Installer Provider Register of registered installers in theirarea. The Australian Government will meet the cost of purchase andinstallation of the insulation up to a maximum amount of $1,600. The cost of your insulation and installation will depend on the requirementsfor your particular ceiling and any costs in excess of the Government assistance are payable by the householder. Please note that households are responsible for choosing the installer and products that best fit their needs.
