About the Position

We are looking for an exceptional Web Developer, willing to help us build web applications that provide our users with educational tools, online training, tangible and virtual products, jobs, and any other service that arises.
Located in an easy Inner Melbourne location just south of the CBD, we are seeking a Web Developer who lives and breathes their passion of developing and would embrace working with a great team to grow a unique company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to tackle interesting challenges while having a big influence over the technical direction of the company. We offer significant autonomy, responsibility and ownership.
You will also be responsible for planning, developing and maintaining all the software applications used by the company, including cloud storage services, databases, emails, hosting services, website, project management applications etc.  

Requirements:
•        2+ years of experience in building real-life web products
•        Fluency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
•        Working knowledge of Responsive Design
•        E-commerce solutions
•        Configure payment gateways
•        Security and SSL certificates
•        Mass email solutions
•        Willing and able to locate and fix problems in existing code
•        Maintain MySql Databases
•        PHP and Open Source Content Management Systems experience
•        WordPress Module and plug-in customisation
•        User interface and user experience

Desired candidates should also:
Bring ideas and teach us new technologies
Use frameworks and keep up to date with new technologies
Experience working with front-end MVC frameworks (is a plus)
Follow Google’s Page Speed Insights
Have setup and maintained CRM (Customer Relationship Management) solutions

Knowledge of any of these would also help:
Microsoft development technologies (especially C# and ASP.NET)
Mobile app development (iOS or Android)
