A well-established RTO located in Melbourne CBD offering quality education and training to overseas and local students needs an experienced hospitality trainer join our team..Due to growth in our training organization, we currently have an opportunity for an experienced and passionate professional who is experienced in Commercial Cookery and has a thorough working knowledge of operating in a high level RTO and industry.


As a trainer and assessor, your duties will include the delivery of training to a group of students in a classroom. These also entail conducting assessment and managing students' completed work as well as competency outcome records.


Mandatory Requirements / Experience in:
•        TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
•        Certificate lV in Commercial Cookery; Diploma of Hospitality or above
•        More than 2 years experience as a Hospitality trainer
•        Current Industry Experience in Commercial Cookery
•        Excellent spoken and written English
•        Motivational and dynamic teaching ability
•        Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
•        Must be available for weekend work
Key responsibilities:
•        Support students to complete their courses as per their Training Plans and course schedules.
•        Develop and deliver courses in accordance with Training Package and industry requirements.
•        Ensure students and employers satisfaction benchmarks are met or exceeded.
•        Participate in and contribute to moderation and validation.
•        All assessments and results completed, entered and handed in within the agreed framework.
•        Mark attendance and assessments as per marking criteria and provide feedback sheets and QA
