The Opportunity
To assist with our ongoing growth we are seeking to appoint a Team Manager, Geotechnical and Tunnels, with strong business development and technical credentials to lead our Queensland team. This is an exciting and challenging role and will see you define business strategy, build technical capability and deliver innovative and effective solutions to both internal and external clients.
As the regional leader for Geotechnical and Tunnels capability, you will leverage your existing network within the transport, mining, water, power and Government sectors to continue the growth of an already successful and reputable national business. This role will be well supported across our business, with skilled resources in other sections. The Section has a high level of existing Geotechnical and Tunnelling technical experts within the business to assist in proposals and bid writing, winning work and ultimately delivering successful projects.
For Success
To be successful in this role you will have:
A proven background in leadership, client relationship management, pursuit management and well developed skills in leading and managing proposals and major projects.
High level geotechnical experience on various infrastructure projects including, transport, water, power, mining and Government
Have successfully led a large group to deliver commercial outcomes
Developed a profile within the industry through industry, Government and Contractors, including involvement in Industry Bodies, papers and journals.
Proven ability at senior level in regards to client relationships, strategic direction and team development/management.
Experience in translating strategic priorities into business planning and delivery
