Ok, let me try to explain what happens!
I had the exact problem before. I did the right mix for the petrol and 2-stroke oil, but the problem still came! At one stage, the mower did not work at all, and I sent it to the repairer. The guy did clean the mower and told me the VERY IMPORTANT tips.
By using oil and petrol mix, we know that the oil goes in the engine with the petrol together, when in operation there is no problem. If the mower is not used for a while, the oil will accumulate inside, that can flood the sparks, block the petrol supply inside.The thing we did not realize was that inside the mower the petrol still can vaporate it self, not the oil.
To my knowledge, all mower have two switches: one is the main switch to stop the engine immediately, the other is the swith to turn the petrol supply on/off. To solve the problem, when you finish the work, DO NOT TURN OFF THE MOWER VIA THE MAIN SWITCH DIRECTLY!!! Please follow the following steps:
1. turn off the petrol switch (to stop petrol flow into the engine);
2. wait till the petrol inside the engine finish, and the mower will stop by itself;
3. set the main switch to off position (if applicable)
After I leant the above and follow the steps, I have never get into the problem.
Hope this can help.
