ok, here is some real shit. Hopefully it give you some tips
1) http://www.digg.com/tech_news/Ho ... esume_in_30_Seconds
[digg is technology oriented news site. Sometime there are good tips there]
2) forums.whirlpool.net.au [this is Australia base forum!! ppl there are no less passionate then here to help you out if you can type in english]
Go to bottom and do search , this is the first result link http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=59476
***Again this is technology oriented forum. But there are several manager hanging there and you might get some really practical tip as they do interview people.
3) don't expect to produce good resume in first draft. NO ONE IN THIS WORLD CAN PRODUCE EXCELLENT CV AT FIRST DRAFT!!. If you dont' have good command on english, try 30 drafts. Each need to wait 1 day interval. It's about gradually improving and putting yourself as interviewer (ok, you can go to mirror and try to feel you are a boss and want to cut cost but not corner). Think about how those junk mail got your attention (free, you-are-winner, etc), use the relevant key word in you cv too. CV is really just marketing thing, not totally about how good you are (just how often impressive ad give good product/service). Bullshit along, you need to backup yourself, just like those tv commercial they have to follow rule of conduct, else people can complain to consumer affair. In short bs in smart way.. |
