Hi there,
Our order records show that you have ordered an accessible version of The Raising Children DVD (with captions and audio descriptions for use by the vision and/or hearing impaired).
We write, firstly, to apologise for the delay in delivery of your DVD. We experienced some technical problems creating this version of the disk, however, thankfully these issues have now been resolved and we will be able to send you your copy in two weeks time. We also wanted to let you know that, in resolving those technical problems, we had to change the style of captioning from closed to open captions – meaning the captions remain on the screen and there is no the option to turn them off. Similarly, the audio descriptions of the DVD’s main navigation also remain on permanently – i.e. they cannot be opted out of.
We do apologise for any inconvenience caused by this unforeseen delay and thank you for your patience. We look forward to delivering your copy of the Raising Children DVD shortly.
