入门的工作真难找呀，基本全要工作经验，今天看了一下香港的工作，很多都是给刚毕业的学生的。澳洲咋就这CD呢！！刚毕业就等于失业！！！！

I know some friends who study statistics, they all get hired in 3 or 4 months. GE,ANZ,robert half consulting...............

For myself, I graduate at end of 2007 and get into office as an analyst in April 2008. At that time, I have no PR, only a master degree in busienss and bachelor degree in maths(china).

You need to update your skills, push yourself to higher limit, get really good understanding of the position you are applying for, so that in the face-to-face interview, you could persuade the bosses even for a fresh junor postion you still have much better views than other candidates and get job done extremely well.

Look at your academic transprit, such a poor record for a STATISTICS student. What a shame that you are even thinking to cheat on that. WTF!!!

Grow up man. Stop acting as a loser. Make clear assessment on yourself whether you are really good in statiscis associated area(derivative pricing,risk management,acturial analysis,portfolio management and optimazation etc). Update your skills (sas, vba,C++,financial math,accounting etc) and correct your attitude. I am sure you will have a bright future.

you are probably very good, but finding a good job is not that easy. i have got credit average, what about you? high distinction. don't be here embarrassing youself. go find a place and hide yourself. nobody wants to see you ugly face.

Mate, you are totally misunderstanding me.

My advice is to encourage you to move forward and concentrate on the right way and attitude to find a job. Dont complain about the current economic condition, just focus on yourself.

In terms of academic records, I have to say that you have better records than me. My average in master of business is just PASS.Yes,that is a PASS because i dont want waste my time in those courses. When I apply for analyst position, I was required to sumbit academic transprit as well. However, I put another page explaining my understanding on this positon, why my scores are so low, what is the popular model used in this position and what is the latest development in the model from US. And I also attach my skills list in details rather than general terms such as "intermidate level skills in VBA". Then I got a call the other day for an interview.

In my mind, master of statistics is VERY easy to find a job. Highly paid, bright future in banking industry

Just be strong,be positive, be tough on yourself.You already have a VERY good education background. Dont seek any excuse.

精算如果没有平均75分以上，工作不过好找。而且，大公司比较喜欢undergrad的精算毕业的。我们公司就是。去年招一个acturial analyst就花了挺久的，最后招了一个上海男孩子，也是犹豫了很久才offer的。他平均79分。当时招人的senior manager跟我说如果80分想都不用想就招，那个男生挺聪明的，interview也很好。

我记得有个同学分享经验的时候说，她的老板招她是因为这个老板以前也招过一个中国人，干得非常出色，所以对中国人印象很不错。 如果一个HR发现好几个中国人的成绩有做假，会不会给他造成中国人成绩都会有水分的错觉？

hi, bro, i apologize for what i have done to you. thank you for your good advice. i admit i am a little bit of overreact. i have been looking for job for one month and have some interviews, the main reason they reject me is because i don't have any experience. one recruitment specialist tells me that it is very hard for fresh graduate to find a job in analyst, and the that kind of entry-level job is very rare. i am studying VBA  AND SQL at the moment. to be honest, i am quite good at SPSS and SAS, i have three years data analyst experiences in PINGAN insurance company, but that specialist tells me that they are not recognized. i am so depressed. how did you find your first job in analyst? seek website? not too much entry level analyst position. thanks !!!!!!!

可以直接问你要成绩单原件，然后让学校直接帮你寄过去。不过那是要自己出钱的，所以提这种要求的公司不多。
