Dear Sir or Madam, 

I was recently told by a member of ADTAV that, from 1 September 2015 on, overseas driver licence holders will no longer be able to drive on their overseas licence in Victoria once they fail drive test. And he said he was informed by your organisation through email. However, I could not find any information regarding this change on Vicroads website. Could you please confirm if this is true?

Yes this is true, we had a meeting with VicRoads a couple of weeks ago and they briefed the Association on this change.  The documentation is still being finalised which is probably why it's not on the website as yet.

If you would like to join the Association so you also receive information such as this, please go to www.adtav.org.au and complete the online application form.
