VicRoads is now receiving applications from Uni & TAFE students who want to work with us over the summer period.

What is vacation employment?

VicRoads provides students with work experience in their area of study. While enabling and developing stronger links with students, universities and TAFEs hence promoting VicRoads as an employer of choice.

We accept applications from undergraduates currently studying a bachelor degree in the following areas:

•Civil Engineering
•Environmental Engineering
•Geomatic Engineering
•Geotechnical Engineering
•Electronic and Electrical Engineering
•Accounting
•Business (Management / Communications / Commerce / Economics / HR / Legal)
•Computer Science / Information Technology
•Statutory and Town Planning
We also accept applications from TAFE students who are currently completing the first year of the two-year Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology (Civil/Structural).

Last year, VicRoads employed 41 vacation students in a number of offices across the state.
