想注册一个tax agent，请问哪里有申请注册的信息？

How to register as a tax agent


STEP 1 - Check if you meet tax agent registration requirements.
All entities seeking to be registered as a tax agent must meet:

    fit and proper person requirements
    qualifications and experience requirements.

STEP 2 - Apply for registration.
Complete the standard application, see details below.

STANDARD APPLICATION – ALWAYS AVAILABLE

    You will be registered for at least three years from the day the Board decides on your application.
    The application fees for a tax agent standard application are:

        $500 - for registration as a tax agent who carries on a business.
        $250 - for registration as a tax agent who does not carry on a business.

可以先申请tax licence，再申请public practice certificate，不过，我感觉申请中最难的是要你老板或者前老板签字，证明你有一定年限的工作经验。要是你和前老板关系不错，还ok，要是这是第一份工作，找老板签字，老板可能会有想法。

费用方面，software大概是2000左右一年，public certificate，我不知道CPA现在收多少，insurance是一定要买的，最低的话，大概500-600就搞定。就算在家做，你估计也要有个office见客户什么的，第一年做，最少能准备3500-4000的本钱。如果要自己做，最少能保证自己有50个左右individual以上的客户，应该保本没问题，要是有几个business，那应该就好很多了。自己需要客户源不够的话，要做广告，费用就高了。

还不如给前老板，前前老板做contractor做得顺手轻松
等有了小孩在家也可以做个几个月半年的，省得有gap

可能有的会计师公会会要求不一样，有些会计师公会是必须的。

请问申请tax licence必须以前在accounting firm做过吗？

请问申请中关于： 一年public的工作经验， 如果是累计一年是否可以呢？
还有， TPB 上面还对课程有要求，我看了看， 有的课程读过，有的课程名字相近但是code又不一样（比如CPA105 advanced Taxation）， 而且还要求‘introduction level’ 的course 最多一个， 剩下的要‘advanced’ course？ 有童鞋有这方面的疑问吗？

Asumming "CA" being mentioned is CA Australia, if yes, your friend needs CPP from CA Australia to become a tax agent

She's not running a public practice and not a principal of the practice, purely provide tax services only.

I think one year working experience with public practice is not enough. I think TPB has lifted up standard by asking three out of five.

As long as you have completed CPA taxation paper, it should be ok. However, TPB also required you to complete at least three law subjects.

Below $7500/pa, don't need PPC.

那你老板有啥负面反应没？ 一般要申请多久才能下来？ 我工作时间有4年在所里， 但是学的化工 CA还有两门 能申请不

TPB would access your Uni Results and see how many accounting subjects you have done, how many law subjects have you done, especially how many taxation subjects you have done.

Condition 1: you must complete your tertiary studies and have a degree.
Condition 2: Your uni studies should include accounting I, accounting II, Corporation Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Accounting etc
Condition 3: Your uni studies should include 3 law subjects, Basic Law, Commonercial Law & Corporation Law
Condition 4: You uni studies should include Foundamental Taxation Law & Advance Taxation Law
Condition 5: You must complete taxaton paper with your profeesional association, the best you complete the whole courses.

It took me about 4 months from submitting application to licence granted.

My taxation working experience was about 10 yrs, however, I only filled into the form for 4 out of 5 years based on the period I have been working with my current office.

My boss only took a serious checking for what I have filled up into the application form, then agreed and signed.
