关于访问学者的一些问题

有国内的朋友，得到了访学的机会。问了一串问题，我都傻了。有TZ乐意帮忙吗？先谢了。
1、到澳洲的访问学者可否合法打工？
2、访学期满可否申请工作许可？
3、访学期间可否转换身份读博或读硕？
4、到澳洲的访问学者是持持什么签证的？配偶可否一同前往？访问学者的配偶是否也可以合法打工？

1. No working permit, no money paid directly to the person, but some relavent cost may be covered by the boss, like rental etc, if he/she would like to do that.
2. Yes, if you can find somebody support your working and visa application, and that is the most difficlut thing.
3. Not quite sure. But therotically it should be fine.
4. Do not know the visa type, but definitely the partner can go with him/her, however, a inviting letter from the visiting institute/university/company should state both husband and wife's name on it. Again no working permit.
