Person Specification

We are seeking individuals who are able to interact effectively within a technical and sales team environment, and have a passion for over achieving. Excellent interpersonal relationship building skills and ability to gain clients confidence and maintain professional relationships is pivotal to the role. Your work with sales people is to provide product and technical knowledge in support of pre-sales activities. Your success is dependent on the ability to influence the outcome of sales proposals through technical differentiation and “hands-on” implementation. The ideal candidate must demonstrate good organisational, planning, technical, numeric, analytical and written skills. They must also be able to effectively communicate across all levels in an organization – written and verbal, and possess an ability to deliver results under pressure.


Education

Tertiary and/or relevant qualifications in the Computer Science/Software Engineering field

Recognised industry qualifications


Experience

A minimum of 7 years of relevant technical experience, operating across different vertical markets is desirable

A minimum of 5 years experience in a pre-sales role or 3 years experience in an equivalent role in Production Printing will be required

The following is desirable
o
Knowledge of industry standard PDL’s such as PCL, PS, AFP and PDF
o
Knowledge of industry standard file formats such as JDF, EPS and LCDS

Knowledge of industry standard applications such as the Adobe CS suite and Variable Data/Image

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Demonstrate and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of FXA Production Workflow Solutions.

Demonstrate knowledge of pre-press and publishing workflows.            

Demonstrates the ability to represent FXA as a ‘thought leader’ with the provision of timely and professional solution advice building a position of trusted technical advisor.

Demonstrate the ability to remain in control of the customer engagement and, where required, consciously and deliberately move between roles to achieve a mutually beneficial outcome.

Demonstrate the ability to gain high levels of customer insight by analysing their environment, resources, systems and processes.

Ensure due diligence is considered when conducting solution implementation by following formal processes (SIP) and completing the relevant LOE, ARR and SOW documentation in line with FXA procedures.

Identify required training for customer solutions and work with existing FXA resources to co-ordinate and provide the required training for the ongoing benefit of the customer and FXA.

Responsible for implementing Production Solutions. Responsibility extends to the point where the agreed workflow (hardware & software) and the major applications are in full production. Hands-on attitude will be required.

Provide value added consulting services in areas of software, workflow and/or hardware systems to customers as required.

Troubleshooting and resolving incidents in the production environment by working closely with IT departments.

Assist existing customers to maximise the productivity of their Fuji Xerox systems by solving problems, identifying further applications to build existing volume, varying procedures or working with sales for expanding additional systems.

Promote a high standard of excellence through best practices.

Maintain customer satisfaction by maintaining responsibility for problem management until a reasonable conclusion is reached.

Applications areinvited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Billing andContracts Administrator in our Global Services division in the BusinessServices Team.

The successful applicant will have/be:

Knowledge of services solutions based on Fuji Xerox,Xerox, or similar service provider’s technology, software and operationalprocesses.
