第一次draft买家加的是
a) The Buyer(s) may at their expense, obtain a written Building Report (from a Licensed Builder) as to the structural soundness of the
dwelling on the property. The Buyer(s) shall on receipt of such report forthwith provide the Seller(s) with a copy thereof. In the event that the
Buyer(s) produce to the Seller(s) within 10 business days from the date hereof a copy of the Report which indicates that the dwelling is not
structurally sound, then in that case, but not otherwise, the Buyer(s) may (not later than 10 business days from the date hereof) terminate this
Contract by notice in writing and all deposit monies pay by the Buyer(s) shall be refunded in full. The Buyer(s) acknowledge that they must
act reasonably.
我第一反应是 什么是structurally sound? 因为以前买房子我就说major structural defects --要他们加这个
然后我就提了 对方建议的修改：

The Buyer(s) shall on receipt of such Report forthwith provide the Seller(s) with a copy thereof. In the event that the Buyer(s) produce to the Seller(s) within 10 business days from the date hereof a Report which identifies major structural defects or defects which to rectify would amount to a cost exceeding $1,000 and/or the dwelling is not structurally sound, then in that case the Seller may at its discretion:
意思就说大于$1,000的defects 就不买了 （要不就是我修）
我说你这个1000 得删掉把？
然后第三版他们又换成了 structural soundness， 都没有majr structural defects.
我是觉得没事用那么暧昧的词，structural soundness为什么呢 还是我多想了
