We are a leading Kitchen & Joinery manufacturing business,  We are seeking an experienced Kitchen & Joinery Designer/Estimator to join our custom projects team, on a parttime basis.

The successful applicant will be responsible for showroom consultations; management of projects with the team; site visits when required; design of all types of spaces, from blank canvas spaces to interpretation of architectural designs; costing and quoting; managing pipeline leads, through to acceptance; and project handover to our production team.

About the job

Working closely with Senior Management and the Custom Projects team, you will be responsible for:

·         Receiving and managing the custom projects leads and enquiries, from initial contact through to on time submission of quotes and regular follow ups.

·         Interpreting site measurements and onsite assessments with builders, and/or architectural drawings, into workable cabinetry designs.

·         Creating CAD based drawings to present the client with design, as required.

·         Creating costings, tailored quotes, detailed scope of works and variations, for client for consideration, as required.

·         Full control over client relationship; from lead, quote, realisation of sale and moving to production.

·         Recommending changes as required to the design, to make the project more efficient and realising savings for the company and our clients.

About you:

·         experience in estimating and design in a similar environment.

·         Good skills in CAD based software.

·         Good understanding of cabinet construction, materials and hardware.

·         Good ability to read and interpret architectural plans.

·         Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

·         Excellent presentation, honesty and punctuality.

·         Excellent communication skills and highly organised.

·         Excellent ability to handle multiple projects at a time.
