We are seeking an outstanding and energetic Motel Manager to join our team. Operating our Motel in the Melbourne Eastern Suburb and this opportunity will suit a driven and enthusiastic Motel Management Professionals looking for a new opportunity within a mature accommodation business.

Must be responsible
Must love admin and organisation
Must be willing to take calls after hours (duty phone provided).

As motel managers you will be required to handle day to day operation of the business in an efficient and friendly manner.
Applicants must have exceptional customer service skills. The applicant’s favourable attributes include: charismatic and personable, strong work ethics, perform well under pressure, outstanding customer service and demonstrated management skills.
Applicants are required to have previous experience in a similar motel/hotel operation (at least 3+ years’ experience required), training will be provided. You will need to be prepared to be versatile and engage in all facets of the business including:
Office duties, converting telephone enquiries into direct bookings, marketing and promoting the property to attain consistent high levels of occupancy.
Partner welcome to working as housekeeper.
Exceptional computer skills and be able to deal with online booking agencies.
Rostering, Training and supervising housekeeping staff.
Housekeeping duties as per requirement.
Maintaining the property, carrying out general repairs and maintenance.
High level of professionalism in Guest Services
Have high attention to detail and a keen eye for room presentation and cleanliness
Have good industry knowledge
Be able to step in to all areas of the motel as a team
All financial transactions concerning accounts payable and wages are handled remotely
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year
