You are entitled to both Annual leave and Personal leave(including in sick leave and carer leave) during your probation period if you are full time or part time employees
Sick leave is a separated leave entitlement from the annual leave.
Normally, you are entitled to 4 weeks annual leave and 10 days personal leave per year. You are entitled to this even this is not written in your employment contract as this is minimum national employment standards.
Annual leave and personal leave started to accrue progressively from the 1st hours you worked, therefore, you should be entitled take the annual leave if you have accrued enough annual leave entitlement by then.
