The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Senior Desktop Support Analyst to support our ANZ engineering teams. Reporting to the Divisional Manager - I.T, you will provide hands on support to end users either over the phone, internet, or in person to solve their computing problems in a timely manner.
Duties will include but not limited to;
Monitoring equipment for errors or stoppages and take remedial action.
Troubleshooting difficult or unusual technical issues
Undertaking back-up and recovery activities
Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
Documenting and reviewing processes and procedures
Building new PCs to a standard operating environment
Maintaining the hardware and software asset register(s)
Monitoring servers and network infrastructure for errors and action accordingly
Preparing equipment for return at the end of lease period
Ensuring software licensing is adhered to and software compliance is maintained
Attending relevant product and skill courses
Strictly adhering to Business Management System (BMS), Quality Management Systems (QMS) and OH&S procedures.
About You
Our I.T staff are some of the best in the industry and are always learning new things. To be considered for this role, you will have a genuine interest and curiosity about advancements in technology and how it applies to the business environment.
In addition, Suitable applicants will have/be:
Able to meet project deadlines and budgets
Maintain a consistent high quality of work with minimal supervision
Establish and build strong team relationships
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2016 and Office 365
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7 and 10
Experience with video conferencing systems including Skype for Business and Polycom are a plus, but not essential
Any skills in the maintenance and upkeep of engineering software will be well regarded
Experience in SCCM and vmware are a plus, but not essential
Experience with HP laptops, tablets and mobile workstations also a plus
Contribute to the achievements of Strategic Plan and business plans.
Maintain a constant awareness of new IT products and technologies as they become available. |
