Yes, we designed 2 units in one lot for client in Glen and got town planning permit without any issues (ground floor: brick, first floor: render finish), those units are currently being built. However as I mentioned, we couldn't guarantee the covenant will be removed in any application.
Price-wise, that of the brick-looking cladding is approx. 60-70% of that of brick veneer, depends on the materials you choose and builder's labour cost, yes, still more expensive than rendered foam wall, that's why I said it is "relatively cost efficient". |
