QUADRA-TRAC II® 4X4
Capability breeds confidence. The Quadra-Trac II® 4x4 system features a two-speed transfer case that uses input from a variety of sensors in order to determine tire slip at the earliest possible moment and take corrective action. When tire slippage is detected, as much as 100% of available torque is instantly routed to the axle with the most traction. Choose the Auto mode in the standard Selec-Terrain® traction control system for everyday driving or quickly dial in Sport, Snow, Sand/Mud or Rock for specific driving conditions. Go boldly.
Quadra-Trac II® is an active, full-time 4x4 system that functions in 4WD until additional traction is needed. It then reacts by electronically engaging the clutch pack to transfer up to 100% of the torque to either axle. The system works with the Brake Lock Differential and Four-Wheel Brake Traction Control systems to deliver confident all-weather traction. The Quadra-Trac II 4x4 system also features a 2.72:1 low range and neutral for flat towing.
QUADRA-DRIVE® II 4X4 WITH REAR ELSD

Adding another dimension is the Quadra-Lift® air suspension system—it can raise the vehicle for better off-road capability and lower it on-road for better handling and fuel efficiency+.
The Quadra-Drive® II active, full-time 4x4 system is the ultimate for virtually any driving situation.
