Tax Accountant position with Oak Accounting Partners – Box Hill (Full Time)

Immediately start

We are a rapidly expanding accounting and tax practiceservicing a broad range of individual and business clients, including a large number of Melbourne’s Chinese community.

The successful applicant:
·
Degree qualified in Accounting/Finance
·
Must have completed at least one subject in Australian Taxation
·
Possess a friendly personality and excellent communication skills; with a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese Mandarin
·
Have one to two years full time public accounting experience in Australia with knowledge of tax software such as MYOB,Tax Assistant etc.
·
Will be eligible to work in Australia

Duties will include
·
Bookkeeping (e.g., using MYOB or Xero) and preparing financial reports / statements
·
Determination of GST liabilities and preparing BAS’s and IAS’s
·
Income Tax Returns for individuals and entities(including companies, trusts and partnerships)
·
Special projects such as learning and assisting with credit analyst and mortgage broking services offered by our partner firm –Oak Mortgage & Finance; assisting with designing company policies and guidelines; and working with the Business Development Manager.
