How much will I pay for set up?Your new modem costs $99 and the fee for set up and installation (the Connection Fee) is $80. So a total of $179.
Free connection
We're waiving our $80 activation fee for our launch customers.
How much will I pay each month?
Monthly Charge Minimum cost for the service
Small $50 $229 for your modem, Connection Fee and services up to the 1st of the first month following your sign-up, and for a month thereafter.
Large $65 $244 for your modem, Connection Fee and services up to the 1st of the first month following your sign-up, and for a month thereafter.
How much will my bill be?Your first bill will include the $80 Connection Fee and a $99 fee for the modem. After that, you'll be billed on or about the 1st of each month for the next month's service. You'll need to pay your bill using a direct debit from a nominated bank account, credit card or PayPal account.
How do I cancel my Belong service?If you cancel your service within 30 days of activation, you'll receive a refund of the Connection Fee and your monthly fee (if you've already paid it).To receive a full refund, including the modem fee, you'll need to return the modem to us within 2 weeks of receiving the reply paid envelope from Belong.If you want to terminate the service after the first 30 days, we won't refund any fees that you've already paid to us, but we also won't charge you any additional fees to cancel your service.
What if I want to sign up to Belong again?We'd love to have you back at any time. But just be aware that if you cancel your service again (even if it's within 30 days) you won't receive the full refund for the service, Connection Fee and modem, unless you're signing up at a new address.
How fast is my broadband service?Our plans provide maximum download speeds of up to 20Mbps with ADSL2+.Actual speeds vary due to a number of factors such as your distance from an exchange, the network connecting the exchange, your equipment and software and internet traffic. Devices connected by Wi-Fi may experience slower speeds than those connected by Ethernet cable.
What will happen when the NBN becomes available in my area?If the NBN comes to your area, we'll take responsibility for managing your transfer to the new network. We'll try to make things as simple as possible for you, but if you decide you don't want to move across, we may need to cancel your plan.
