【请教】在会计职场打拼的妈妈们

我是足迹新人，才来这里就看了几篇“找工记”，居然看得我热血沸腾，也想跃跃欲试加入找工行列。这个论坛很励志的说，真有点相见恨晚的感觉。

先说说我的情况吧。

目前在一家小公司，Manufacturing。公司上上下下加起来有六，七十人。我的职务呢是AP，但我这个AP上面没有FA,直接就是GM。除了我这个AP，还有一个AR，一个payroll。AR或Payroll不在，我也要顶上去。

除了Payable以外，还做Month End，Year End，BAS等等等等。

感觉公司不怎么正规。而且这又是我第一份工，一直没有机会和一个有经验的Accountant一起工作学习东西。虽然有几年工作经验，但感觉什么都不懂，找工毫无优势可言。

一直以来得过且过，主要是因为公司上班时间是朝九晚五。我可以9点过了才来，5点准时就走。总怕换了地方，别说加班，就是5点半下班我也赶不及接孩子。

但一直这样混下去又心有不甘，总觉得大好时光都浪费了，对职场远景无益。

真心想问问这里的职场妈妈们，你们都是怎么协调的呢？

还有，我要是找工，是否可以从AA找起呢？

可以找aa的，大公司aa除了month end有些比你还闲得多

LZ和我差不多，就看你自己怎么打算的了。是看中家庭还是事业。我现在孩子放2天CC，3天我爸妈帮我看着。正在考CPA.等孩子大点了，CPA考过了，再换工作

a lot people like to hear good baba.....the truth always terrible,
why you just tell you GM, promote you as AA, even your company do not have.
$$ is first talk, if you earn will above $55k, why you leaving? if you earn under $45k , you should leaving or talk to you GM. if you do not  like my words just ignore it

我不是贤妻良母型，但也不会放下家庭只顾事业。我的孩子已经上小学了，但爸妈不常住澳洲，只是偶尔来一下。所以还是面临接送的问题。难不成我要等到孩子上中学？

谢谢你，任何建议我都愿意听。

问题是不管给你什么title，总之公司这个职位就只肯offer这么多了。而且恰巧在你说的45看-55k中间。不上不下。纠结~~~~

还有，这个职位也不清闲，杂事一堆，且与财会无关。

ok, first you situation?
1, do you have degree in local, or ca/cpa
2,how you communication skill
3,how far to you home <30minutes
4,is company will have potential in future(as most local factory is off shore)
5,how long you bee working there, if you already there >7years, waiting for 13weeks long services leave.
6,as you company has more then 60 people, you are covered by law, if you been fired....
(but might change if Liberal  still want IR change)
7,are you every year get more than 3% pay rise
8,is your GM appreciated your works

I have 2 friends, both of them finished diploma in here, 1 had degree in later who woking in a company as accountant doing everything by herself, no help hands, she is similar wages as you, same size company, the boss treat the friends as if you do not like you can move on,, my friends is 45+......so she still there
my second friends no degree, working in 10people company, learning /doing things herself, earn Average NSW ages. these days my friends do not asking rise, as my friends hs finished work on time /early to pick uo kids at 6:00pm
everyone has different situation
1 a lot place you need overtime without pay
2,a lot place sucks except government/big company......
3, if you next job has so much asian working there, you better expect overtime stay there until boss gone, but boss always coming office later, so they leave later, but we are not....

绝对不要为了孩子放弃career path, 孩子的问题花钱可以解决。实在不行花50元一天找人接送也可以，但是career path一旦放弃，就不容易找回来了。

最好找到平衡点，职场上如何叱咤风云也不可以牺牲陪孩子的时间。个人观点，家庭比事业重要。

我觉得孩子比工作要重要多了，找个平衡点，不要工作太累了，忽略小孩了。

是不愿放弃啊，可现实残酷的勒~~
孩子已经每天去After School Care了，我5点下班，5点半可以pick up他。
要是换个远点儿的工作，或者5点半下班，那我就很紧张了。（ 过了6点，ASC每分钟收5刀！！）

在孩子和事业面前，如果不能双赢，貌似我们都会牺牲自己的... 只可惜自己这么多年的苦读。

华人店打工到wws理货也是一条career path

是的， Master (不如Bachelor好用）

No。维持现状就不错。

这也是我之前舍不得的地方。但是如果有好的发展，8周多的假不要也罢。

如果我不走，基本不会被fired。有时我倒希望能被redundant掉，这样我就可以拿pro rata 的long service leave啦！

不每年加。什么时候老板高兴什么时候加。通常每两年。目前来看没什么上升空间了。

有一点我和你那个朋友挺像的，就是老板吃准了你有小孩的这个困难，觉得你不太可能会move。他觉得这么flexible再加这样的人工，我到外面也找不到更好的。或许他想的不错吧。

I can not suggest anything, if you over 40, stay their, until retire, $52k is average mark price.  You have primary kids at home, your time need flexible.  you trade less 30minutes is good deal.  if you find a new $10k (if you luck)more, but you have to trave extra 30minutes,

what's benefit? you have 130hours extra /year.
if you working more than 10year, you have 13weeks long service leave....it is $$$
as I said unless you fond government/big company....do not change.
