Took me a while to realize you're using 1) to explain 2). Well if you go to a guest computer then you'll have to re-setup, true; but if it's between home & work, Chrome can actually sync your customizations so you don't have to set it up again.

And to make it clear, I'm not a programmer and I don't normally call people idiots, unless that person is Tony Abbott .
